Chests: Points Towards The Lucky/Unlucky Title
[ Hello you treasure hunters/title hunters! ]
The 'problem' I want to dicuss...
1) How many purple items do you get out of 100 high-end chests? 50?60?70?MORE??
Yes, keys cost 600g+ and often give purple items worth 80-150g!
2) Another thing I would like to mention is the lack of lucky/unlucky games I missed all those weekends in which you could play for this title, and I know that a lot of players missed them too. What about max lucky/unlucky title then? very hard to get in the future if you missed 2-3 of the events.
My idea for this...
This is why I'm proposing something for the Lucky/Unlucky title!
I think Anet should give us 5-10 points towards the lucky title if we get a gold item out of a high end chest and 1-3 points towards the unlucky title if it's a purple item!
Your opinions/suggestions...

To this I would like to say that 3 points is not enough imo. Will you ever have 333 333 goldies from chests? (if you didn’t participate to events)

QUOTE from Gamewikis.org
Notes: Statistically, it would take on average about 17 days to win 1.0 million tickets. (Based on games available during Canthan festivals)

That’s a good argument too

Well , we can work on that , just give points only ONCE per day or so , overfarming impossible, not??

Yes, unids you find can give lucky points too
Thank you for reading! Good Gaming

I like, I have always thought as lucky/unlucky as more of a subtle title - something that builds over time

i'll sign on, but only for gold drops. otherwise there's nothing lucky about getting a purp drop you paid for.

If only...
I'd also say that if a mob drops you a gold you gain 1 point to Lucky or something. Its hardly enough to encourage farming...

I like this idea, especially since I read that the treasure hunter/lucky/unlucky titles will be involved in hard mode. However, I wish that the wisdom and treasure hunter titles were account based, but that's another story.

I don't want to advance my lucky/unlucky title track beyond lvl two. Also I don't like the idea of linking titles.
What does a single golden chest give you then? +1 treasure hunter, +1 seeker of wisdon AND +1 lucky? Why not +1 ALL titles?

I'm with you with the treasure/wisdom titles, as well as the idea mention at the start. I also reckon increasing your luck will give you a better chance of green drops.

1. Why wouldn't you want to get a higher tier in a title track? It's like you're at 24/25 Protector of Tyria, but don't want to get master's on the Great Wall mission because you don't want the title...
2. Slippery Slope Fallacy: We're talking about combining 2 title tracks, don't give us that crap that we're going to do other things, the idea was nicely thought out and argumented, your arguments fail.
Having that said, /undersigned.

Yeah, currently luck/unlucky comes with few items and events.
One fixed always available would be good.

/signed from me too - having a set way to earn this title rather than the odd event or afk-ing for hours on end during boardwalk events would be awesome
